Introduction
Lumina Retreat Unawatuna sets clear guidelines to ensure a safe, peaceful, and enjoyable stay for all guests.
Check-in Requirements
Guests must be 18 years or older to check in.
A valid passport or national ID is required at check-in for verification.
Check-in & Check-out
Check-in: 2:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Check-out: By 11:00 AM
Late check-outs are subject to availability and may incur an additional fee.
Adults Only
Lumina Retreat is designed for adults seeking rest, privacy, and calm.
Bookings are accepted from guests aged 18 and above only.
Children are not permitted. If minors are present at check-in, entry will be refused and no refund will be issued.
Guests Only
Access to the property is exclusively for registered guests.
The pool and restaurant are available only to overnight guests during the day.
Pets
Pets are not allowed.
Quiet & Relaxation
Personal speakers are not permitted in shared spaces.
Parties and events are not allowed.
Quiet hours begin at 10:00 PM.
Daily Yoga Classes
We are delighted to offer 75-minute yoga classes every morning and evening in our garden yoga shala.
To ensure a peaceful atmosphere, we request all guests to respect quiet time during sessions.
Classes are designed not to disturb in-house guests.
Guests are welcome to join for an additional fee, subject to availability.
Pool
No lifeguard on duty — swimming is at your own risk.
Smoking and the use of glassware or breakables in the pool area are strictly prohibited.
Outside Food & Drink
Outside food and drinks are not permitted in shared areas.
Please do not bring cups or glasses from rooms into common spaces.
Smoking
Smoking is strictly prohibited indoors and outdoors.
Mosquito coils and incense are not allowed in rooms.
A $300 fine applies for violations.
Parking
Parking is limited.
Bicycle parking is always available.
Personal Belongings
Lumina Retreat is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items.
If you leave something behind, please contact us promptly and we will do our best to assist.
Lost & Found
Non-perishable items will be stored for up to 30 days.
Perishables, underwear, and toiletries will be discarded.
Reasonable efforts will be made to notify guests if items are found.
Damage or Theft
Guests are responsible for any damage caused during their stay.
Lumina Retreat reserves the right to charge the card on file for repairs, replacements, or extra cleaning.
Right to Refuse Service
Lumina Retreat is a privately owned property. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for reasons not prohibited by Sri Lankan law.
Zero-Tolerance Policy: Entry may be denied, or guests may be removed without refund in the following cases:
Refusal or failure to pay
Intoxication or disorderly behavior
Disturbing other guests’ peace
Illegal activities or possession of prohibited substances/weapons
Damage or threat to property
Exceeding room occupancy
Failure to comply with our policies or local regulations
